Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026
Score Splitter does not collect, store on servers, or share any personal information. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs.
Your pages and parts
The score pages you import and the parts Score Splitter creates are processed and stored on your device, inside the app's own storage. Text recognition (instrument names, titles and navigation marks) uses Apple's on-device Vision framework. With Score Splitter Pro, your songs are also stored in your own iCloud account through Apple's iCloud Drive, so they appear on your other devices; the developer has no access to them. Nothing is sent anywhere else.
Photos
If you choose pages from your photo library, Score Splitter reads only the photos you select, to copy them into the song. If a photo is stored in iCloud Photos, iOS may download it from iCloud for you. Score Splitter asks to add photos only when you save pages or parts to your library (Save to Photos, or Save Image in the share sheet); it can add photos but not see your library.
Camera
If you scan pages with the camera, the scanned pages are saved only in the song (on your device, and in your iCloud with Pro). Score Splitter uses the camera only while the scanner is open.
Files and sharing
PDFs you open in Score Splitter are copied into the app. Parts leave the app only when you share or export them yourself.
Deleting your data
Deleting a song removes its pages and parts. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Children
Score Splitter does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
