Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge, 1780 m long, connects mainland Hohoku-cho, Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture with Tsunoshima Island, opened November 3 2000. At the time among the longest toll-free bridges to a detached island in Japan, maximum pier height 30 m, prefectural road 276.
