Shikoku Aquarium opened June 1, 2020 in Utazu Rinkai Park near Seto Ohashi Bridge, 12 minutes walk from JR Utazu Station. Theme is Shikoku waterscapes with nine zones and 70 tanks showing 400 species and 14,000 animals. Main tank Watatsumi holds 650 tons, 11m wide and 5.5m high, with migratory fish circling under 4m skylight. Kaminazuki shows hammerhead sharks from below, Uzushio recreates Naruto whirlpools. Dolphin Pool merges with Seto Inland Sea so dolphins leap over sea itself, paired with sunset in evening shows. AI guides and light effects add magic and draw families.
