Nabekanmuri-yama Park at 169m opposite Mount Inasa in Nagasaki City looks sideways at the bowl-shaped city instead of from above, producing a stereoscopic night view rated among Nagasaki's top two. From here you catch Megami Bridge, the Industrial World Heritage Giant Cantilever Crane in Mitsubishi Shipyard, Nagasaki Port and cruise liners lit up. Renewed in 2016, its observatory is open 24 hours with free parking and is less crowded—an insider's hole. Access recommended via Glover Sky Road, an inclined elevator from Glover Garden's second gate, then a 10-minute walk, allowing a smooth transition from Glover Garden sightseeing to evening night view.
